Again, I'm a fan of Krakauer, faults and all -- there's been some criticism of how he handled the "truthity" of the entire situation and even why it ended up in print so soon after the tragic event itself. Oxygen-deprived memories and all, I love reading this guy's prose -- I just escape big time and keep turning pages. Butch male nature malaise narrative, come on down!
