I am not into romantic novels, and this one is not only a romantic novel, but it's also about a prostitute who was seeking for fortune and love, i.e. a typical boring Egyptian movie. Yet, I liked it. It's my first time to read anything for Paulo Coelho, so I am not sure if he is normally like this, but I like it when he mixes the ongoing incidents in the novel with philosophical points of view and try to further analyze and comment on stuff we take for granted like life, death, fortune, love, and even sex.
It might not be the best to read in the past few months, and may be that's why the four stars instead of five, but still it is a good one that I recommend to others.

Rana Badary "but I like it when he mixes the ongoing incidents in the novel with philosophical points of view and try to further analyze and comment on stuff we take for granted"

Well, that's how the Paulo Coelho's "magic" works ...

Tarek Amr I see Rana, may be because it's my first time to read any of his books.
