Abigayle's review
The Gashlycrumb Tinies by Edward Gorey
It reads like an old fashioned nursery rhyme detailing the bizarre deaths of children with classic sounding names - all this in rhyming couplets, in alphabetical order and in something close to iambic pentameter! Seriously, what more do you want from a book that's virtually the exact dimensions of a CD jewel case? The illustrations are priceless too.

Personal favourites: J is for James who took lye by mistake & N is for Neville you died of ennui.
