I really want to give this 2.5 stars, but you can't. It was a little bit better than just OK, but I wouldn't say I liked it. (That said, I didn't hate it.) This is the story of four friends in London, who grew up together in rural Ireland. Together they experience a crisis, and the story is about how two of the three change as a result. This is classic chick lit, and I can't say I am particularly a fan of the genre. The opening is especially stereotypical, in terms of the way the characters are described, and how we meet them. Anyway it's a light read and if you are looking for something to read on the beach, you could probably do worse. (What a ringing endorsement!)
