A very amusing book. Fortunately, the author is type-A enough to soften the lewdist scenes. She brings her anthropologist/ academic training to the carnal table in very funny ways.
The most shocking parts of this book to me were how messed up Ayn is in her relationships with men. Fortunately her relationship mishaps improve through 1) her naughty knitters, (crafty friends and their advice) and 2) her knowledge of her own faults. She uses the porn over time to understand both herself and men. Totally fits the chick lit genre.
