This may be the first mother/daughter book I've read. Since Sue (who was about to enter menopause) and her daughter, Ann, a recent college graduate who was not accepted at her graduate school of choice, are more friends now than relatives they travel together enjoying the scenery of Greece and France and gathering inspiration for the next part of their lives. Now that I'm just about eligible for Medicare, it made me wonder what I should do with the rest of my life.
The book was read by the authors, alternating chapters. That was enjoyable although I did not like the way Kidd pronounced mirror, as if it were mirrow. And she used the word a lot.
