This was an audio book.
I actually would have given this 3 1/2 stars if I could have.
In many ways this is a typical who-dunnit, but I really liked the cast of characters. Myron Bolitar is a former NBA star, former FBI agent and current sports agent. He often works the cases with his very "old money" best friend, Windsor Lockwood III, a psychopath who is also a former FBI agent. His secretary, Esperanza, is a former professional wrestler who goes to law school at night.
The mystery was above average, the disappearnce of the fiance of one of his clients, and the younger sister of his ex-girlfriend. From the clay feet of the perfect people to the mob and the dishonesty of college and professional athletics, there was a nice unfolding of the plot.
