Christy's review
Middlesex is one of my favorite all time books. I know its kind of sad, but I loved the combination of history/fictional history; the psychology behind the behavior of the characters; the pathos; and above all the writing that just sucked me in. Another two of my favorites are "Boy's Life" by Robert McCammon, just love his mix of magic and reality. And, I recently really enjoyed "Ahab's Wife: Or,The Star-Gazer" by Sena Jeter Naslund.
