Merrick (The Vampire Chronicles, Book 7) by Anne Rice
It took a while to get into the book. Yes I understand it was about Merrick.... we had to learn a little of her history. But it did take a while to get to what actually was happening at THE MOMENT. I really enjoyed the book though.
