I really enjoyed this latest Amelia Peabody mystery. This slides in chronologically between some of her other Amelia Peabody mysteries, but it's not necessary to read them in order. Elizabeth Peters breaks out of her usual Egypt setting to set this mystery in Jerusalem. I think it's also the shortest mystery yet. Very satisfying, though!

Rated PG for some violence, etc. I really like this series and appreciate that she always keeps the books pretty clean.

I just won this on First Reads. I've read several other books in this series (Amelia Peabody mysteries) and I'm excited to read the latest one.
