Recommended for: animal rights folks, feminists, people who eat animals, people who use women

This book is very feminist and very animal rightsy, but it ends with a sadly jaded note, offering no real solutions, only a new clarity about oppression (both internalized and coming from external sources).

Beautifully written, of course, and full of entertaining three-dimensional characters.
