This book was quite a good book as I would say. I really like the fantasy part and that I can't wait for the second book. Now this magic seems to have a impact on people because everyone in this world is special in their way and they don't know it. The only think people think that is "cool" is magic because you can so what do whatever you want. Also i want to be a "mage" as in people who use magic not voodoo. It has a clever twist on the world of magic. These two characters have this life style that they aren't happy with so they went such these period of events that brought them to who they are in the book! I reconmmend this book TO EVERYONE!
