Anjean's review
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
i really liked the first hundred pages of this book. then, i started realizing it was merely a worst-case-senario book. every subsequent plot development was more devistating than the last. i don't think authors like this are really that skilled at writing. i can imagine terrible senarios, too. i did, however, enjoy the novel's cultural relevance. but, in the end, that did not redeem Kite Runner. its predictability at moments read like a lifetime movie. sorry!
