I wasn't sure what to expect with this last book in the series. I really wondered how things would end.

I was leery when the book started out really slow and secretly thought I was going to be disappointed. But after making it halfway through things started to pick up.

I was surprised by some of the things that happened. Because at the heart of this series we have a bunch of people that are connected and have become friends even when they didn't want to. Things would have been so much easier for all of them if they could be just content with what they had or with the people that are around them. But you really can't help who you love.

I have to say that I am very happy with how things ended. It really was the best way for everyone involved to be happy and all of them to still be friends and allies.
