bookshelves: art-fiction

Ultimately a pale cousin of Chasing Vermeer; less reliance on coincidence, and I prefer that, but enough coincidence/messages from another world that someone who hadn't read the first book would be all "what?", since the author doesn't go back into her theories on that too much. Everything has less depth, except perhaps for the discussion of the artwork itself (the Robie House, in this case).
