"The stillness was the sleep of swords" and other passages make this one of the most astounding works of art I've ever read. The hurricane was fantastically amazing yet of been through hurricanes and it seemed so real. It somewhat reminds me the fantastical realism of one hundred years of solitude but it's not really fantastical its just that the language is so beautifully metaphorical and it captures the essence of ideas in a remarkable way.
