November Blues is a novel that shows how love can bring a bunch of people together. After Josh dies, November, Josh's girlfriend, is left with alot of pain. However, she doubts that what she felt was true love. When she discovers that she is pregnant, and is having Joshs baby, she realizes that her opportunities in life are starting to become limited. Joshs parents claim that she isnt ready for a baby and want to have custody of the baby. At first, she really dosent realize that a baby requieres attetion, care, and money but as time passes she learns her responsibilities. Meanwhile, Josh's cousin Jericho is filled with guilt that he couldve stopped his cousins death. He and November both share a pain and promise to look out for one another. At a huge football game that Jericho is palying at, Novemeber goes into labor. When the baby is born, the doctors tell November that Sunshine, the baby, was born disabled. Joshs parents back out of custody, and November is mad that they only wanted a "healthy" baby. She ends up caring for Sunshine, and learns to love her baby. I think the book was okay, but it was alittle too vauge. I wish it was more interesting, but overall it was a good novel,
