it was ok
bookshelves: fantasy, bleh

What bothered me most about this book was that none of the the epic deeds promised on the back cover occurred in the novel. None. The book was 700 pages of exposition and introduction to the awesomeness of Kvothe. I'm not sure I'll be reading the next one.
