really liked it
bookshelves: fiction, read-in-2011, in-a-series, purely-escapist-fiction
Read from February 04 to 05, 2011

I read Austenland on Saturday and was pleasantly entertained.
Jane Hayes the Hopeful. She is in want of a husband. She can't seen to find the right guy. A therapeudic experience in Austenland may help. If it were a real place I'm sure I would have cracked a lot sooner than Jane. It would be fun though to get dressed up and sit around all day doing nothing.
Finding love was a whole lot different back then.
And let me just say, thank goodness for Jane Austen. I wonder what she would think of all the swooning we sometimes do over her novels.
