really liked it
bookshelves: historical-fiction

Great, fast read. I DID pick it up from the library because its short. NOthing wrong with that. I'm not really in the mood this week for a long book, but short books are still great.
This novel inverse follows three girls in Cuba, one a slave, one a spoiled rich girl, and one an average woman. Their journey follows several struggles in their time period (which I am not EXACTLY sure) as well as other problems. The author does a great job of getting you attached to pretty much every character. I finished it in about 45 minutes and I would reccomend it, but not as one of my favorites.
