I read this and wrote a book report on it in high school. It would be interesting if I could read that report to see how my perspective has changed. It was interesting to read this after having recently read Isaac Asimov's history of the time period in which it was published. This edition includes an introduction by Amanda Claybaugh, English & lit professor at Columbia University. I read her introduction after I read the novel which made it a lot more meaningful than reading it before.
