it was amazing
Read in November, 2007

Seldom does a book make you laugh and cry at the same time, but this one does. I felt as if I knew Arnold Spirit, his family and his community. The rez is almost a character in this book. I've read a few of Alexie's short stories and I think I might have read one of his novels but this book is fantastic. The cartoons that Arnold (Junior) draws are an integral part of the story as well. All I can say is "wow."
