This book is massive. I purchased the box set so that I could read it in three parts. I've heard people call it the "adult Harry Potter" but don't overthink that expression. It's absolutely nothing like Harry Potter. It is far more advanced and it involves magicians, but the use of magic in the story is more unique. One the magicians aids the Duke of Wellington in his battle against Napoleon. Lord Byron makes appearances. The author put a lot of effort into researching historical events to make this book happen. It's brilliant.
