A decent suspenseful story that captures the feel of rural northern Minnesota's Anishinaabe Country. I'm reserving judgement about some of the details and depictions of Anishinaabe culture, but Krueger definitely captures the prevalent white ignorance and prejudices of rez-bordering small towns.
