Just gonna say it, this is a weird book. It starts out like Laura Ingalls as Jonathan Livingston Seagull and ends up like The X-Men do Mission Impossible. Just when you have the story figured out, it takes a different turn and you're thinking to yourself, "I don't even know if this is going to have a good ending!" But it does. It's cute and sweet and probably a lot of fun for pre-teen girls.
