really liked it
bookshelves: poetry

I first heard about this in Cordwainer Smith's "Drunkboat"--- a reference to the title. And so--- like Henry Miller's "Time of the Assassins" ---it became something I hunted down in high school. All these years later, it still bears re-reading. There's nothing quite like it--- not in Rimbaud's own day, and not since. No one else has done anything like it. You'll read it, hate it, be engrossed in it, lost inside Rimbaud's hell.
