On the flap, DiCamillo states, "I wanted. I needed. I longed to tell a story of love and magic." The tale is a story of love and magic and a story of wanting and needing. Of wanting to return home. Of needing to find a sister. Of longing to make things in the world right again. And because we know that rarely happens in the real world, we need to read DiCamillo's story of young Peter who is told by a fortuneteller that an elephant will lead him to his missing sister.

DiCamillo once again finds the magic and uses it to tell a beautiful story.
