This is a thoughtful, holistic writing targeted towards those seeking a more spiritual approach to health and fitness. The Buddhist teachings are present, but even if a reader doesn't want to embrace Buddhism, this book has much to offer. In a nutshell, it is about living mindfully and paying attention both to the food you take in and the energy you expell. There is some practical advice such as breathing exercise and suggestions to use a 9" plate, but more importantly it stresses a lifestyle rather than a program. Many additional resources cited.
