Read in March, 2010

This biography of Ella Baker does a good job of taking a very full and complex life and depicting it clearly and concisely. A biography for young people it tells about the work of this one individual but also fills in the background on the Civil Rights Movement and the other prominent participants. I would strongly recommend it.
