An incredible story. Not only of living and dealing with a disease, but a story of perseverence through life. It's not a book of pollyanna stories and quotes, he never once tries to make this all about him and his disease. He is honest about himself, his family, the ups and downs of family life and his career, etc. This is a book that I was sad to finish, I wanted to read more. It's easy to see why he was such a great journalist, the man can really write.
