Okay- I'm not trying to be negative nelly... BUT these books just don't get any better! I had several people suggest Carrie Vaughn's books as "must reads" so I was really excited when I found these on sale online in bulk. I watch my mail and couldn't wait to start reading them. The first was unimpressive, the second was unimaginative and the thirst has just simply ho-hum! I want to love these books I really do. But it's hard to respect the character. Again this books doesn't have the character development, plot twists and overall forward movement a series of fictional books should have. Kitty is indecisive with her career, doesn't seem to have any respect for her body, always seeks others to fix her problems and likes to complain! I don't like it. I didn't like how halfway through this book Kitty gets to start leaning on yet another person. Like she needed another enabler- another reason to not face her own issues...

Bottom line I have book 4, 5 & 6 at my house but don't want to read them now. Am I going to read them? Probably. I just can't stand to own books I haven't read. But am I going to enjoy them. Probably not.
