This is the 10th installment of the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. This is a transition book that clears up some problems, but not all of them. Sookie is getting over her torture and the first part of the book is about Eric and her dealing with this. Claude, her cousin, comes to stay at the departure of Amelia. One of the best parts of the book is the section with Hunter in it. Eric’s maker and “brother” come to visit causing mayhem. Bill is still recovering and lets Miss. Caroline know their relationship. There are problems with the Were community as well. This isn’t as good as the others, but it helps move the series forward. It is an important book to read, but it just doesn’t have the depth and intrigue of other stories.
