Read from January 10 to 12, 2011 — I own a copy, read count: 2

I loved this book the first time I read it but it is so much better this time.

I don't remeber how I stumbled on to this book a couple of years ago - might have been a freebie on Kindle. I was instantly hooked the first time and read all four in this series and then read the Highlander series. This time I read the Highlander series first and now starting to read the Fever series again. This book makes so much more sense now having read them in the proper order and I get more of the small references to the prior books.

I can't wait until Shadowfever on the 18th.

Quotes Melissa Liked

Karen Marie Moning
“I love books, by the way, way more than movies. Movies tell you what to think. A good book lets you choose a few thoughts for yourself. Movies show you the pink house. A good book tells you there's a pink house and lets you paint some of the finishing touches, maybe choose the roof style, park your own car out front. My imagination has always topped anything a movie could come up with. Case in point, those darned Harry Potter movies. That was so not what that part-Veela-chick, Fleur Delacour, looked like.”
