Out of all this author's work this compulation of her fist three Anita Blake series is Hamilton's best. They most closely stay to the premise of a hard as nails chick in a supernatural world. The rest of this Vampire series is good,and continue the plot lines, but Hamilton's style totally changes into the more errotic genres.
