Read from January 03 to 05, 2009 — I own a copy , read count: 1

Bella's mother is moving to Florida with her boyfriend so she has to leave Phoenix to live with her dad Charlie in Forks, Washington. Bella is curious about the aloof Edward Cullen and his family though his behaviour towards her swings from hostile to friendly in a way that makes her head spin. When Edward saves her life, she starts to piece together strange things about him, and with help from local legends, she realises that his whole family are vampires. Their relationship will be tested by the prejudice of the local native American tribe and some visiting vampires.
Ah the classic story of forbidden love! I can relate to Bella, being the geeky bookworm that never feels part of the In Crowd and falling for the most unattainable boy at school. Oh I remember those bad old days! I loved the Cullen family and Billy and Jacob when they appeared, and felt the characters were all well developed. At times yes the book drifts a bit and there could have been more action but I still really enjoyed it and looked forward to grabbing book 2.

I can relate to Bella also. I was the geeky bookworm too. I even read during lunch break.
