Larson does a nice job of balancing the two stories (creating the Chicago World's Fair and H.H. Holmes's killing spree). A nice use of historical documents along with enough dramatization that still feels in line with fact. An interesting glimpse into a different time, definitely recommend it.

Alison I enjoyed it too! I want to read his one about Hitler, Garden of Beasts or something like that
