Great story! I think it takes such a creative mind to take a real life story and make it into a wonderful book, with so few facts to draw upon. The only word I can think of how to describe how this book is written is 'elegant'. I didn't see the ending coming at all, but won't say anything to give it away here.

My only regret is that it was a more difficult read for me in the summer, since it is such an intense book and I like silly, chick-lit-ish books by the pool. But, that's just me. It's a wonderful story and I definitely recommend it.

Gretchen Do you want to borrow this from me? I have an extra copy & it is SO good!

Melea Rose-Waters Sure! I'd love to borrow a copy! :) Thanks!!

Emily Converse Mosley I looooved this book!

Emily Converse Mosley I was really surprised by the "ending" as well. I remember I was like, "Whoa, did that really just happen?" and I had to re-read the entire section. :O Such a good book though!! I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
