This is my least favourite of the Harry Potter books. I'm not sure exactly why. I love the first book, hurry through the second and third, and really enjoy the fourth and above.

I think part of the reason this one is my least favourite is because it's largely about this whole mysterious secret chamber that no one knows where the entrance to is and how it is being opened. Once you've read the book and know the secret it's a bit boring to read the whole thing again. Though, strangely it doesn't bother me to reread the discovery of the horcruxes and Slughorn's real memory of Tom Riddle asking about horcruxes in the later books. Plus, Lockhart really annoys me. All in all, I still like this book. Just not as much as the other ones. :)
