Roger Scruton is well known (to philosophers, anyway) for providing thorough analysis of great philosophical works in an astonishingly short amount of time. This book might take you 1 to 2 hours, at most. So, in the time it takes you to watch an episode of "Greg's Anatomy," you could learn the nature and limits to pure reason (in other words, that thing you do called "thinking"). With that knowledge, you will then be able to judge what does and does not constitute as "knowledge," as well as properly discern what information and sources you eventually choose to gain future knowledge from. At the very least, you'll be watching less T.V. news and reading fewer chain e-mails.
