Rollercoasters: The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas Reading Guide

A different perspective on war-torn Germany that reminds us that children are borne along without any say-so in whatever adults do. Children are also left in the dark about the whys and where-fors of what adults do, and if untainted by adult evil-prejudices will accept and see people for who they are and not what baggage and burdens are placed upon them.
A very sad conclusion, and a fitting end for the family, but one wonders if lessons are learnt.
