I've read this twice now, once last year also around the same time. Upon rereading this, what struck me is comparing my reactions to secrets I had seen before. Secrets that had been so meaningful to me, because they were my secrets too, are practically irrelevant today. Different secrets stand out, depending on what you're going through. That's one of the things that's so powerful about the PostSecret books - the secrets are so universal, and yet so specific at the same time, that you will always see yourself in at least one of them. Yet that one will change. With a book with a set number of secrets, you can see for yourself how much YOU have changed (or have not changed), based on which secrets do and do not really speak to you anymore.
