I listened to this book on tape. It was a fun "read" to get the science juices flowing again in my brain. It details the author's investigations of several sexy scientific phenomena: ebola, the human genome project, number theory, computational problem solving, and frightening genetic diseases. The way it's written, it's very engaging, sucking you in from start to finish. It includes a large human element, profiling quirky, brilliant scientists and mathematicians. Overly dramatic at times, but well worth the read.
