This was an alright book for my first go at reading about art therapy, if you take into consideration that it was published in the 80's. The relation to schizophrenics/catatonics and art is interesting. It seems that SOME form of expression tends to aid in positive experience in the severely mentally ill.
I could do without the author's myopic poems peppered throughout the book. They really made me shudder.
Otherwise, it was a decent, informative read.
