Graphic Novel. Jack gets his own spinoff! And the first thing he does is get captured by some guy who collects fables. I always enjoyed Jack's stories in the first volume of Fables, and this is more of the same. Jack gets himself into trouble, and then he gets himself out of it again, with plenty of charm, ego, and assholery.

The art's in keeping with the Fables look -- simplistic, but not overly cartoony -- and the colors range from bright and cheerful to dark and flat, depending on the action.

Four stars. It's good to see Jack again, and this volume is one complete story that's fun to read, even if it leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
