Sara described hin the best "WoundedWarrior", that is exactly what Quinn Rafferty is. Quinn is also easy on the eyes, hard to get to know, closed off and the least likely hero you are ever going to meet as a character in a book.

Their story is explosive, the chemistry between the two has smoke coming off the pages but their mutual secrets are the real key to what makes this a hard book to put down. Once you start peeling back the layers and revealing things about Quinn and Sara your fascination will not let you stop until everything comes clear.

I totally loved this book, it was easily my favorite of the two Rafferty brothers stories. Quinn is such a complex, dark but engrossing character that the more my heart ached for him the more I liked his code of honor towards those who needed his help. The man professed himself to be unworthy but time and again his actions proved him more than wrong!

Sara reeled me in as well, her compassion, her willingness to look past the exterior Quinn showed the world and see the good man inside the blunt and harsh shell, most of all the way Sara met things that scared her head on had me hoping things would work out for the best for her
as well as Quinn.

Good romance, great suspense and once again this author proves she can surprise and keep me involved with her story from beginning to end of book.
