It's moving along well. It's heavy on the history of the region, which is not an unexpected development, but I was kind of hoping that there would be more focus on the appearance/ambience/gestalt of the different towns and states the author travels to. His narrative voice is a bit dry sometimes, too. But I'm fascinated by this region of the country, so I'm enjoying the work overall.
