Third time I read it. And though I can't think of anything less reminiscent of Mary Poppins, I do find this book "practically perfect in every way."

Jacquie One of my favorites too, and one of the very few books that I have read multiple times. It's funny, because I was just thinking about checking this one out to listen to this next week on my trip.

Lindsay And now you're reading The Woman in White, which I just read and loved! We're on some kind of wavelength.

Jacquie :) I'm reading it on a Kindle App on my iPhone, so it's a little weird (the reading it off my iPhone, not the book) but I am liking it. I love Marian's narrative (is that her name?), Laura's half-sister. I'm reading it because both you and Janice gave it a good review. So, thanks!
