Again, no great literature here, but a light, fluffy and easy to read culmination of the battle between the circle of six and Lilith, the master vampire looking to destroy the world(s). Ah, who am I kidding? It's another romance, dealing this time with how Moira and Cian get it on.

While this was still entirely predictable (who knew who the old fella narrating the story would be? Other than, well, anyone who's ever read a book) it's still completely non-offensive and easy to read - helped in that because Cian is, along with Larkin, one of the better characters to read about, what with occasionally having an actual personality (can you tell how much I didn't like Hoyt and Glenna yet?)

The battle scenes aren't particularly well done (a bit too much tell, and not enough show) and the books are definitely romance with paranormal elements (I infinitely prefer it the other way around) but are a non-taxing way to spend a few hours if there's nothing on telly.

Overall, I'd say the trilogy gets a 2.
