really liked it
bookshelves: mystery-crime
Read from March 02 to 12, 2010

An enjoyable read only slightly marred by pedestrian writing and some jarring moments (feds don't use AKs OR Tec-9s!). Crane is imperfect but easy to root for, I chose to interpret Jefferson's "tell me" ethic as indicative of the protagonist's stoicism. Even when the POV shifted to one of the other characters, who are uniformly well drawn and mostly believable.
