Everyone should read this book. Pollan does an excellent job covering a lot of ground in a relatively brief book. Pollan takes you from farm to table for three meals: a McDonalds meal, an organic, home-cooked meal, and a meal made (almost) entirely from things Pollan himself hunted or gathered. You learn a lot about organic commercial farming, nutrition, food, and, you guessed it, the "omnivore's dilemma."
